About Sweet Talk Cafe

Sweet Talk Cafe is a coffee shop featuring local specialty coffee and Asian-inspired drinks and desserts.

Located at 2008 Creekside Landing Dr, Apex, NC 27502, Sweet Talk Cafe operates as a cafe serving Apex in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Sweet Talk Cafe at (919) 446-6068; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, sweettalkcafenc.com.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 417 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes & coffee in Apex.

I went to Sweet Talk Cafe for the first time today, and I’m so glad I did! I had a vanilla cold brew that was really good, along with the churro croffle, which was amazing! The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing, and it was a great place to enjoy a coffee and treat. The owner even came out to check on me to make sure everything was going well, which was a nice personal touch. Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend Sweet Talk Cafe. I’ll definitely be going back!

Baby let me tell you I love a coffee refresher! I wasn’t sure the shop would have anything for me because I’m not a sweet coffee girlie, but I needed coffee and I was at the gym so I walked in and fell in love 🥰 The menu is cute ☺️ and full of creative mixes. Holly is the goat and I’d make sure to request her making the drink. What I loved most is they allowed me to create a drink and it was fantastic!!!! I’ve been getting the strawberry lemonade refresher with double shots of espresso. They add dried lemons and other garnish to make my drink magical. It’s so pretty too. This spot is a must try if you’re in Apex. Between my kids and gym visit I think I’ll try everything on the menu.

If you’re thinking about coming here, do it!!! It’s a bit of a drive from where I live but I was in the area for a doctor’s appointment and saw this on Instagram 2 days before, so I decided to stop by. I was blown away! The space was way bigger than I expected and so cute inside. Would definitely be a great place to work, study, hangout. I have been losing faith in coffee shops lately because it feels like being taken advantage of- you try to support local and end up paying $7-$8+ for a coffee that tastes like burnt coffee masked with a lot of milk and syrup with questionable service. This is not that place!! Service was amazing. Coffee (I got a spring special - blueberry pancake latte) was fantastic. I got a blueberry cheesecake croffle (doubled up in the blueberry, courtesy of the baristas rec) and I loved it. It is absolutely worth the drive and your hard earned money. This place is special

I had been coming here for years and have loved it. I’m not sure what happened but today I was ignored when I walked in while the cashier searched for a playlist. I think ordered two croffles that rang up to $17. My daughter and I love these. When they brought them out they were half the normal size. I literally watched them walk out another one that was the normal size. The first girl apologized and admitted it was smaller and offered to remake them. Then the same girl that ignored me came out and tolls me that was the normal size and they cannot remake them. They just lost a family of customers.

I’ve been a regular customer here for about two years, and overall, it’s a solid spot to visit. My go-to drinks are the coffees and the hot or iced matcha, and they’ve consistently tasted great. I’ve also seen others order their desserts, which look both delicious and aesthetically pleasing. There have been a few minor instances where my order instructions weren’t followed exactly, but nothing major. I do think the atmosphere could use a bit of improvement in terms of feeling more welcoming.
